Job Title: Site Engineer/Jr Site Engineer Power Plant

🏭 Industry: Power / Energy / Infrastructure

📍 Location: Kuwait

🔹 Job Purpose:

To manage and execute site-level construction and installation activities for power plant projects, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and safety compliance.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

✅ Site Execution & Supervision:

• Oversee construction, erection, and installation activities of mechanical, electrical, or civil systems (based on specialization).
• Monitor daily site operations, contractor performance, and workforce productivity.
• Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and approved plans.

✅ Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure quality control and inspection of works as per QAP/ITP.
• Conduct material checks, testing, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental guidelines.

✅ Project Monitoring:

• Track daily progress and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
• Support in updating schedules and identifying any delays or roadblocks.
• Maintain site records, documentation, and work permits.

✅ Safety:

• Enforce safety practices at site as per HSE guidelines.
• Conduct tool-box talks and monitor PPE usage and safe practices.

🔹 Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of power plant systems (boilers, turbines, switchyards, etc.).
• Good understanding of construction drawings, standards, and site management.
• Familiar with MS Project / Primavera (preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site staff, labor, and contractors effectively.

🔹 Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors Civil Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in site execution in power plant or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with thermal, hydro, or renewable energy plants is an advantage.
