Job Description:
Position: Environmental Responsible Engineer-Power/Desalination
Experience: - More than 10 Years of environmental engineering experience - Preference, Construction and commissioning experience of more than 2 projects in Power or RO plant, Project execution experience in middle east country Academic Background: - Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering Job Location: Gurugram, India Industry Type: Engineering & Construction Report to: Group Leader in EPC Utility Team (HQ) Job Summary: Process and Mechanical engineering of Water/Wastewater/Chemical Dosing/ElectroChlorination packages in Power Plant or RO based Desalination Plant Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities: Environmental systems in charge: RO based Seawater Desalination, DM water- Ion Exchange based, DM water – EDI based, Electro-Chlorination, Gas Chlorination, Demineralization, Re-mineralization, UPW treatment, Wastewater treatment including Oily wastewater/Chemical Wastewater, Wastewater reclamation, Sewage treatment, Condensate Polishing, Water-steam cycle Chemical Conditioning for power plant, Chemical laboratory (a) Basic design: Preparation of Water Balance Diagram & Mass Balance, Process Calculations, Optimization of RO membrane with High Pressure Pump and ERD considering CAPEX & OPEX, Power consumption optimization of RO Plant, Sea water Pre-treatment, DAF system, Media Filters, P&ID, GA, Design Criteria, System Description, Technical Specification etc.
(b) Detail design: Preparation of P&ID for Desalination Plant, Vendor print review (Process, Mechanical, Civil & Arch. information, Piping, 3D model, Process and mechanical related part in I&C and Elec. document, Bill of Material and etc.), Preparation of Equipment list, Chemical list, Plant chemical conditioning philosophy, Equipment handling strategy
(c) Proposal support: BM Take-off (Mechanical, Piping), Providing of reference I/O list, Preparation of Elec. Load List, Equipment List, Civil Unit List
(d) Procurement support: Preparation of Material requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation
(e) Vendor expediting, Consolidating and coordination among other discipline
(f) Technical support for government Laisoning, if required
(g) Attendance on Factory Acceptance Test
(h) Management and coordination among other related disciplines and solution providing on nonconformity report and client’s comment at construction stage Capability & Knowledge:
(a) Process & mechanical engineering, construction and commissioning capability of the below environmental systems
(b) Professional experience and extensive knowledge in water treatment & wastewater treatment for power plant and RO desalination plant Working Conditions - Job Position (Permanent/ Temporary): Permanent - Annual salary: subject to the employment criteria and India pay parity Others: - Traveling as per business requirements
