Central LMS Admin_ IT Consultant
EMEA Internal LMS (Learning Management System)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring Seamless LMS Integrations Management LMS administrator is responsible for overseeing LMS integrations, creating a well-documented and risk mitigated process.
• Documentation of Integration Processes: Systematically document the end-to-end processes for managing LMS integrations. This documentation will serve as a comprehensive guide for all stakeholders.
• Risk Identification: Conduct a thorough risk assessment to identify potential challenges or disruptions that may arise during LMS integrations. This involves anticipating issues related to data transfer, system compatibility, or third-party dependencies.
• Mitigation Process Implementation: Develop robust mitigation processes to promptly address identified risks. This proactive approach will minimise the impact of potential issues and ensure smooth integration operations.
• User Access Assurance: Guarantee uninterrupted access for all users by actively monitoring and addressing any access-related issues that may arise during or after integration. This includes ensuring that users can seamlessly interact with the LMS and associated systems.
• Service Continuity: Prioritize service continuity by establishing fallback mechanisms and backup plans. This ensures that even in the event of unexpected challenges, essential services remain operational, minimizing downtime.
• Prevent Critical Issues: Proactively identify and address potential critical issues that could impact the performance and functionality of the LMS and its integrations. Implement preventive measures to safeguard against these issues.
2. Perform the Legacy System Migration process to ensure a smooth transition from the old system to the new one.
• Requirement Analysis: Identify and document the requirements of the business.
• System Assessment: Evaluate the current state of data, applications, infrastructure, and dependencies.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the migration.
• Plan and Test Migration: mapping data requirements, developing data migration strategy and test migration.
• Migration Execution: Execute migration and conduct post-migration testing.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): conduct user acceptance testing to ensure that the data was correctly migrated through reporting validation.
3. Learning Analytics and Reporting:
• Update and maintain learning analytics dashboards, including but not limited to Learner Transcript Report and Course Level Report. Assess the effectiveness of existing reports and make improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including instructional designers and content developers, to understand reporting requirements and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
• Train and support end-users on accessing and interpreting learning analytics reports and dashboards.
• Gather and compile data on new hires within the organization about new hires and customize reports for the different divisions.
• Track and report the statistics on the usage and engagement for VIP reporting.
5. Perform System(s) Quarterly Release Updates
• Testing and Collection of Evidence: Conduct thorough testing of system(s) quarterly releases to identify potential issues or bugs.
• Risk Assessments: Identify and analyze potential risks associated with the release and propose mitigation strategies.
• Quarterly Release Impact Analysis: Evaluate potential changes in user experience, system performance, and integrations with external tools.
• Conduct Release Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations on quarterly releases to the business community.
• User-Centric Design: Communicate updates, improvements, and changes introduced in the release to stakeholders and end-users.
• Pilot Testing: Ensure that the new features are designed with a user-centric approach, considering the needs and preferences of your users.
6. Lead and facilitate Community of Practice (CoP) meetings
• Conduct CoP Meetings: Build and sustain a vibrant and collaborative Community of Practice, from strategic topic selection to effective facilitation and knowledge management, the administrator plays a pivotal role in creating an environment that promotes learning and professional development within the LMS community.
• Preparing Topics: Identify relevant and timely topics for discussion in CoP meetings based on the community's needs.
• Inviting Guests: Ensure that guests are prepared and aligned with the objectives of the CoP.
• Facilitation: Facilitate meetings and create an inclusive environment that fosters collaboration and idea-sharing among community members
• Update the CoP SharePoint page with relevant documents, keep knowledge within the CoP, ensuring that insights, best practices, and lessons learned are documented and shared.
Qualifications: 1. Salesforce Expertise: • Proficiency in Salesforce Experience Cloud and subsystems. • Ability to manage Salesforce integrations and customization. 2. LMS Administration Experience: • Prior Experience of LMS platforms, such as Adobe Learning Manager, Moodle, Blackboard, or similar • Familiarity with learning analytics and reporting tools. (Tableau)
