Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST. SOC2, HIPAA
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to evaluate the security of systems and applications.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure security controls are integrated into all business processes.
• Perform risk assessments and impact analysis for new projects and initiatives.
• Lead security initiatives and projects independently.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Provide security training and awareness programs to employees.
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents, audits, and compliance activities.
• Prepare and present reports on security metrics, compliance status, and risk assessments to senior management.

Requirements

Candidate Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT security operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Proficiency in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• In-depth knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, and others.
• Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and work independently.
