Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve sales targets for endoscopy products and capital equipment.

  • Identify new business opportunities across hospitals, clinics, and healthcare centers.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for surgeons, OT staff, and purchase teams.

  • Generate demand through regular field visits and customer engagement.

2. Territory Management

  • Manage and grow business in the assigned Kolkata region.

  • Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans and activities.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with surgeons (GI, General Surgery, Urology, etc.), hospital procurement teams, and biomedical engineers.

  • Maintain regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Support customers with product training, installation coordination, and after-sales support (with service team).

4. Capital Equipment Sales

  • Handle end-to-end sales cycle for high-value capital equipment including demos, trial installations, negotiations, and closing.

  • Liaise with internal teams for quotations, tenders, and documentation.

5. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with the service team for installations and technical support.

  • Submit daily/weekly reports, sales forecasts, and CRM updates.

  • Participate in conferences, workshops, and product promotion events.


Key Skills & Requirements:

  • 3–12 years of experience in hospital sales, medical devices, or capital equipment.

  • Strong understanding of Medical Devices.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

  • Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory efficiently.

  • Graduate in Science/Pharmacy/Engineering or equivalent (preferred).

  • Willingness to travel within the Kolkata region.
