Servicenow Developer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to support ITSM processes such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.
• Implement ServiceNow best practices for development, including coding standards, configuration management, and version control.
• Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for ServiceNow applications.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow applications, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and customizations for ServiceNow applications.
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases, patches, and new features, and evaluate their impact on existing applications.
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on ServiceNow development best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• X+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Business Management (ITBM), and Security Operations (SecOps) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
