Technical Business Analyst
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Product Owners and Stakeholders: Work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, ensuring that all needs are clearly understood and documented. • User Story Development: Write clear and concise user stories in Gherkin syntax, focusing on the “GivenWhen-Then” structure to define acceptance criteria that can be easily understood by both business and technical teams. • Translate Requirements: Convert business requirements into detailed technical user stories, ensuring that the engineering team has a clear understanding of what needs to be developed. • Agile Scrum Methodologies: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews. Ensure that all work aligns with the Agile principles of delivering incremental value. • High-Paced Collaborative Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, working efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and other stakeholders, to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned and moving forward. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile Scrum environment. • Strong experience in writing user stories using Gherkin syntax. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience in the Oil and Gas domain is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field
